If you are planning to start a business or you are a small business owner with a challenge, SCORE counseling may benefit you. It is no-cost, confidential and available to all U.S. citizens.

You will meet face-to-face with a business veteran who offers you free and valuable business advice. Your counselor will assist you with a business plan, help in obtaining financing and act as a sounding board as your business ideas develop. Counseling may continue for as long as you need it in order to achieve your goals.

Your SCORE counselor may be a member of your Board of Directors, your business advisor and your source for a fresh perspective about your business. A team of SCORE counselors may act as your advisory board or a way of freshening your business perspective.

If you have not owned a business before, we strongly recommend that you attend our one day seminar “How to Start and Manage Your Own Business” prior to counseling.
